Our appraisers typically provides responses to all appraisal requests within 24 hours, unless additional information is required. For the fastest response we recommend that you provide us with a list of your wines in an excel format with all necessary information (vintage, producer, bottle size and quantities) clearly laid out in individual columns.

There is no limit on the amount of wine bottles we purchase. We can purchase a single bottle or a wine cellar that consists of thousands of bottles. It all depends on the value of the bottles and the current market demand.

In order to provide you with an accurate appraisal for your wine collection ECWB pricing team uses the most current auction market data.

While ECWB may at times provide a lot quote for your wine collection typically the appraisals are itemized so you can see exactly how much you are getting for your vintage wine bottles. We are also always happy to speak to you by phone to provide additional information on which bottles may be more valuable depending on the market conditions.

The only information we need to begin the appraisal process is the vintage year, producer name, size of bottle, quantity of bottles and any condition issues.

At this time we do not purchase wines internationally. We only purchase wine bottles within the continental United States.

Depending on the size of the collection and your location we do offer in-person pick-ups.

If your wine bottles need to be shipped ECWB will pay all of the applicable shipping costs. There are no additional cost to you.

You will not need to obtain or purchase any materials to ship your wines. ECWB will provide you with the Styrofoam shipping containers as well as pre-paid labels for the bottles. All you need to do is place the bottles inside the provided shipping boxes, put on the provided labels and drop off the bottles at the nearest Fedex facility.

ECWB used Fedex for all shipments. We do not use UPS or USPS.

We try to make shipping process as simple and convenient as possible. As such, all you need to do is place the bottles in the providing shipping boxes, put on out labels and drop off the boxes at the nearest Fedex facility. ECWB insures all shipments as long as you use our shipping materials and prepaid labels.

Depending on your location it typically takes 2-5 days for you to receive our shipping materials and pre-paid labels. When shipping the wine to back to us we use expedited shipping which takes 1-3 days.

As stated above ECWB takes responsibility for the shipment as long as you use our shipping materials and labels. As such, if anything happens to your wines during transit, so long as we can confirm that the correct bottles were shipped we will still pay you the full offered price for the broken bottles.

When picking up the bottles directly we pay for the wine collection at the time of pickup. If bottles are to be shipped we pay for the wines upon delivery and inspection of the bottles.

When picking up the wines directly we can offer cash, wire, or certified check as payment. When shipping we can offer, wire, zelle, paypal and certified check

For direct pickups payment is made at the time your wine collection is purchased. When shipping is involved payment is made the same day we receive the wine bottles.

We can offer cash, wire, certified check, paypal and zelle as acceptable forms of payments.
